removing the caulk turned into removing the surround.
removing the surround turned into throwing out the surround.
he also removed the shower door.
after a little bit of paint and a lot of elbow grease, it presently looks like this:
the plan is to hang a plastic sheet around the tub so we can still shower in it until we can get a contractor in to tile around the tub. what really bothers me is that the tub clearly used to be surrounded by tile. why, oh why did anyone ever remove it?!
with the holidays coming up, we figure we probably won't get anyone in to work on it until at least january. *sighs*
isn't life an adventure?
