We're back! That is to say, we've arrived safely at the YWAM base in Panama and even caught a few hours of sleep before breakfast! Travels went well. Details below...
It was hard to leave Max! But things went smoothly after that. The drive to the airport was smooth as Mike's dad anticipated road construction and routed us around it.
We had been grumbling a little bit about our discount airline as we have to pay for each checked bag and on the return flight, even for carry-ons, but... a very kind "check-in lady" took good care of us! We got first class seating on both flights at no charge (probably due to my knee brace)! Funny thing is, there's no way this would have happened if we had been able to check in online like we had hoped to - there would have been a fee for that as well!
Thanks to everyone who has been praying for our safe travel -- it's been very blessed!
We had the funniest flight attendant ever on the first leg of the journey - here's a few quotes:
"Everything on this plane is for sale. Only the smiles are free."
"Smoking is prohibited on this flight. If anyone is found smoking, they will be asked to leave the plane immediately."
"We have seven, five minute segments of the flight remaining..."

This morning, we met a couple of our DTS classmates and staff. The rest of today will probably be for getting settled into our room, running into San Vicente to purchase a few things we didn't pack, and... napping!

Woo-hoo!
Super, Glad to hear your flights went well and that you were able to get a few hours of sleep. Now the adventure begins!!! Mike remember the sun screen!
Congrats! Glad you had a safe trip. I liked your post about how both of you read Isaiah at the same time and came to the same conclusions. :) --Jenna
